Today I picked up my shiny new souped up laptop from the local Apple Store.
Here are the specs:
Yeah, this is a pricey one, but I work on my laptop 90% of the time, and weirdly only go on my iMac desktop machine for more serious video (usually board) meetings or to write term sheets, .. but I really see myself gravitating to using my laptop the vast majority of the time (several hours a day), and the rest of the time is spent on my iPhone (or not, hopefully).
I tend to type (peck?) very rigorously (passionately?) and loudly, so my older laptop that I was previously using (purchased 5 years ago, so it was fairly dated) started to break down and I noticed that certain keys were literally blurring…
Anyway, I love the feel of the new machine and the keys are so responsive and feel great. The machine is also incredibly snappy. I hope to keep and get a solid 5+ years of runway out of this machine, maybe more!
